COE prices just hit record highs. For Skylink, that’s a growth signal, not a setback.
In a new interview with The Edge Singapore, Skylink CEO Wesley Shen explains how record certificate of entitlement prices and rising diesel costs are pushing more business owners toward leasing instead of buying. Category C COE prices have climbed almost 30 percent in the past year alone, and Shen expects that trend to keep driving leasing demand.
The interview also covers Skylink’s shift toward electric commercial vehicles, how its engineering arm has grown into a genuine profit driver through new service contracts with major transport and F&B operators, and its expansion into heavy-duty leasing, including a new temperature-controlled logistics fleet. With FY2026 net profit up sharply year on year, Shen shares what it will take for Skylink to move from the Catalist board to the Mainboard.
